I create pretty things for iOS + the web. See some of my work below.
Next TTC

Next TTC

Next TTC provides instant, real-time arrival predictions for Toronto's bus and streetcar transit system provided by Toronto's Transit Commission (TTC) via the NextBus API.
First released in early 2011 the app has received great coverage in all major news outlets in Toronto including Toronto Star, National Post and The Globe and Mail. The app has also been featured on sites such as Gigaom, blogTO as well as Toronto's CityTV and CP24 news channel sites.
A major update was released in the fall, improving the backend greatly and sporting a great new user interface.
Next TTC 3.0 is currently in beta and will feature significantly improved code base, making use of Core Data and new iOS APIs. 3.0 will also feature a finely-tuned, delightful user interface update (see raw previews here, here and here).

Tiger of Sweden

Tiger of Sweden

This app is currently running on iPads installed at the cash register in eleven Tiger of Sweden stores in Denmark, Germany and Sweden.
Tiger of Sweden is a high-end clothing brand with major focus in the European market.
The app allows customers to sign up for the Tiger of Sweden newsletter in a few easy steps, collecting the person's email, name and gender. The app also features a web browser that gives users access to the company's online shop.
While idle the app shows Tiger of Sweden's latest Fashion Show, with two large buttons prompting customers to sign up for the newsletter or browse the online shop.
The app features delightful transitions and animations with easy navigation. It also includes an easy update mechanism, making it possible for store employee to update the app with ease, as well as automatic update of new Fashion Show movies.

PlanetAxel

PlanetAxel.com

PlanetAxel.com is an e-commerce site offering movies and video games. PlanetAxel.com is a popular store with Europeans who wish to import North American movie releases and video games.
The site was recently re-launched with a brand new design with gorgeous graphics that take advantage of HTML5 and CSS3. The site is completely styled using Sass and supports all major browsers, with reasonable backwards-compatibility for older browsers.
The design puts the products in front row, allowing the users to browse titles and place orders without too much visual clutter seen on other e-commerce sites.
I posted some design elements to a Dribbble project that showcases some parts of the site and the thoughts that went into creating them.
PlanetAxel.com closed in July 2012.
